Since 1971, news, current events, politics, curiosities, and history have been arriving in the homes of the islanders through a periodical that bears their own name, l’Isolano. With this title, the magazine presents itself as the incarnation of all that Isola Dovarese represents and collects the fruits of the work of this small and industrious community.
Over the years, it has changed a lot, adapting to a population that has moved to various parts of Italy and the world, arriving, with a still active subscription system, even in the Americas.
L’Isolano boasts the primacy of being among the longest-running publications of the Italian Proloco, given that in these over forty years of activity, it has almost continuously continued its work of information.
Since 2009 it has been a bi-annual, with issues in June and December.
