The ‘luartìs’ the hop shoot, harvested between March and April, is preserved and reproposed in classic popular recipes such as omelette, risotto and more.
The festival, with shows and stalls, aims to recall man’s close bond with nature, and especially with that spontaneous vegetation that helped so much in feeding and caring for the body, when science and development had not yet solved many everyday problems.
The festival is organised with the Oglio Sud Regional Park, of which the municipality is an integral part.
